Peter Feinmann, Marcie Kaplan and Neil Motenko will lead a 6-week series on how mindfulness meditation can help us approach the upcoming election with a measure of peace, wisdom and self-compassion. We will cover mindfulness basics and offer practical guidance for dealing with “pre-election anxiety.” Consecutive Sundays on Zoom, September 22 - October 27, 10-11 am (not including October 13); in person at TST, November 3, 4 pm.

2. Mindfulness basics: tips and techniques for working with thoughts. (9/29)
3. Mindfulness basics: tips and techniques for working with emotions. (10/6)
4. Cultivating equanimity: staying steady in the face of change and challenges. (10/20)
5. Mindful self-compassion. (10/27)
6. Making the practice your own: meeting what comes, followed by discussion of the practice, Q&A, and fun and connection (In-person at the temple on 11/3)
